What Are Cafe Style Shutters ?
Cafe Style Shutters cover only the bottom part of the window so this allows natural light to come in at the top whilst maintaining privacy at the lower level.
These style shutters are great if you are concerned with keeping the room as light as possible, especially ideal for sash windows.
Shutters are generally priced per square metre so if only half the window is being covered the price to install these on your windows will be far less than Full Height Shutters.
Cafe Style Shutters come in over 50 different colours, with a variety of different control options available including Central Tilt Rod, Half Hidden Tilt Rod, Offset Tilt Rod & Invisitilt.
Zero MDF!, basically our Shutters are manufactured in either a Smooth Hardwood, a Grained Hardwood or a Waterproof Polyvinyl.
Louvre sizes available include: 47mm, 63mm, 76mm, 89mm & 114mm (only available in 63mm, 76mm and 89mm in Polyvinyl).
All Shutters come with a minimum 5 year guarantee!

Cafe Style Shutter - Control Options
Invisitilt
Arguably, the most popular control option is completely hidden with the tilt mechanism built into the shutter panel. To open and close the louvres, simply tilt any one of the louvres and all louvres attached to that mechanism will move together.
Central Tilt Rod
Providing the classic shutter look, the Central Tilt Rod is a vertical rod, located centrally on the front of the shutter. The rod enables the louvres to work in unison.
Half Hidden Tilt Rod
A discreet tilt rod that is located at the rear of the shutter panel. to open and close the louvres, you just adjust any one louvre and all louvres attached to that rod will move together.
Offset Tilt Rod
Like the Central Tilt Rod, but the vertical rod can be located to the left or right side of the shutter panel.
